SY saw the whole thing, he was already there when SM and SR arrived but leave before SR react against the hug, SM told SR something that make her worried as SY goes back to the gisaeng house thinking of JJ words that SM like SR he realize that probably SM wanted him out of his way for SR. Su Yang ask to talk to SR. SY is obssesed with Ah Kang he hear her voice and remember her.
Some gang has come to the gisaeng house to cause some trouble, one very mad SY arrives and ease his anger with a good fight, the rebel friend seems worried about this and talk to him, SY doesn't want to tell his name or anything about himself. After some talk the sour face gisaeng piss him off and he leaves the room. The young gisaeng see him and says SY is hers.
The gang chief is punishing the one SY defeated and he tell him about SY. SY recall SR in jail saying she would wait for him to come and kill her, he watch his sword with sadness as SR in her room think of Su Yang, SY and sis in law words, they are both in mutual angst in their rooms.
KH, JJ and the other uncle are planning to crash the wedding to kill Su Yang.
The uncle find SR in the street and talk to her about KH, he is planning something with 3 strangers.
SR goes to KH kouse, she tell her she knows she is going to marry, both seem sad, KH gives her SY ring telling her what it is, how she got it and that it's her last gift to her. SR cry. She wear the ring outside. JJ is about to collapse, he and KH talk about SR, SY and the kings situation, KH seems desperate.
KH maid goes to see SM, she tells him that JJ would go to the wedding, he is very happry. The old ugly man from the round table of evilness is with the evil gisaeng paying to a man who tells him about Su Yang murder plan, and the old man goes straight to Su Yang and they plan how to deal with KH and JJ.
Sexy black costume SY is agreeing to some kind of instructions of the sour face gisaeng, the sour face gisaeng and the rebel friend talk about him. The gisaengs's clients are bullying SY he doesn't even blink when they trow a knife to him, then when things get more serious the bully gets a few broken ribs.
SM and his father talk about Su Yang, SY goes to the "police station" to ask for something but SM comes out, he hides and hear the guards talk about the wedding, and he remebers the hug scene between SR and SY. SY ask a woman about sis in law and hear they commit suicide and gets furious in denial.. SY cry and return to the giseang house where the guy gisaeng is flirting with a guy that says something that catches SY attention but the young gisaeng let them know he is there screaming "oraboni", he leaves to train with his sword as he remebers all his good sweet moments with SR with her words that she would wait for him to kill her, his shirtless and sweaty in complete angst revenge mode.
The next morning SY is outside SR house, she is in her room looking at her ring with loving eyes, JJ goes to talk to SM and tells him something that makes him sad, JJ is about to cry
SR leaves the house and SY goes in stalker mode, as SM goes to Su Yang house to give a present to SR but finds Yeo Ri and he ask where SR went. SR is in the gisaeng house door were she met SY so many times, she keeps walking and SY is about to catch her with a rope when SM joins her in her walk SM gives SR the long hairpin that married woman wear, she thanks but leaves him. She put the rings on a stone mountain used to pray, SR bow and leave and SY take the ring back remembering when he bought it, SR regret leaving the rings and goes back but the rings are not there, SY is breaking them with a stone and she sees him but don't recognize him, she runs away from her and she take the pieces of the ring. SY goes to his room and drinks.
The day of the wedding arrived, KH ask JJ to be safe and they share a sweet moment, he goes to the uncle and they talk. JJ goes to SM remembering the day of his own wedding, Su Yang man are following him. SY in disguised saw them. The heartless mom is trying to comfort a very sad looking SR giving her some advice but she only remember SY saying something similar the first time they met, she is like a zombie while the maids dress her with the wedding dress and a single tear falls and she is being put make up on, Yeo Ri dry her tears..
A very happy SM arrives, follow by the uncle and JJ, they congratulate Su Yang.. Sr is all dress up and she looks in the mirror disgusted and close it as she remeber SY kiss and poem and say it out loud, the paper wall behind her begins to moves and SY silently come out from it with a rope in his hands,

It's been a long time since I last used Photoshop to blend something. Hope my skills haven't gotten worse. Usually I'm motivated to use Photoshop again when I find new love, such as right now it's Park Shi Hoo (and Princess' Man) ~ - such dark motives =]]

Ah, when I go to find some Photoshop tutorials, I suddenly think of those people who use others' actions to adjust the color, add some brushes, type simple words like "love", "smile",... and call it their "designs". It's the same as those so-called photo manipulators that download stocks on the Internet, adjust colors a little bit and call that their photo-manip works. Don't call yourself designer baby, noone's gonna be tricked. That's actually plagiarism!

{ Princess' Man | Review - Recap | Ep 12 }
In this episode, we come to know the man who shares the chain with our Seung Yoo is called Jo Suk-Joo. Together they successfully trick those mercenaries into believing that Seung Yoo has died (as they saw him falling from the cliff with their own eyes) and use their boat to escape the island with Wang No Geol, a coward, pompous prisoner. However, Seung Yoo is severely injured so they come to a gisaeng house to seek for help, for Suk-Joo's brother is a gisaeng here (he's too beautiful for a man).
The princess and Jung Jong joins the scheme of Keum-Sung to assasinate Su Yang on Se Ryung's wedding day. After that, Shin Myun begs Jung Jong to come to his wedding, as he's the only friend left. Jung Jong refuses, yet Shin Myun says desperately, "I'll be waiting for you!".
Knowing that the ship has sinked, Se Ryung's like a dead person. Because of that, Shin Myun asks Su Yang to postpone the wedding day (he's a gentleman indeed).
Se Ryung and Shin Myun helps Seung Yoo's sister-in-law and his niece to find a shelter to hide in the meantime because they were degraded into slaves. Knowing Se Ryung's heart has never opened to him, he shouts, "Just how long do I have to wait?" and suddenly hugs her. In scouting the house of Prince Su Yang, Seung Yoo happens to see them together...
My comment: I'm kinda disappointed with Moon Chae Won's performance in this episode, fortunately Park Shi Hoo's has compensated for her failure. I always have the feelings that she's merely acting and the mask she's wearing is starting to crack. Even though Se Ryung's living, she's actually dying. The wedding day is near and Se Ryung should have been a wandering spirit who has nowhere to go, no one to believe in. But all I see in the Moon Chae Won's Se Ryung is just an annoying brat, tears are fake and pain isn't there, in her heart.
On the other hand, Park Shi Hoo has done a good job, even though his lines aren't many. He has captured the character's feelings and let it all out. Well, I'm not saying this because I'm his fan, but because of his talent. Keep up the good work, PSH!
I'm starting to like Princess' Man's soundtracks even more, especially the song {Destino}, which you often hear in intense moments and the ending song (I still don't know its name, urg...)

I've been wondering the two dramas that I've watched recently are all about princess (Prosecutor Princess and now it's Princess' Man). Now I know that it's Park Shi Hoo's fault. He's the main lead in both dramas and I can't help watching any dramas starring him.
It's said that Princess' Man is a "Romeo and Juliet" in Korean style. I was a bit hesitant after hearing that, but I'm glad I gave the drama a try. It's so wonderful, breath-taking and getting more and more intense. The story's about a tragic love story between Se Ryung - the daughter of Prince Su Yang, who is very ambitious, cruel and always coveting the kingship, and Seung Yoo - grandson of Kim Jong Seo, a loyal official. The little game between Se Ryung and the princess has led to an encounter with Seung Yoo that they'll regret for the rest of their lives.
I've heard some complaints about Park Shi Hoo's acting skills in the first two episodes. Some criticized his voice, saying that it's robot-like. I think so too, but I also think that it's suitable for his role, a playful and wise man. You'll see his performance improving as the story evolves. Maybe he's not good at talking normally in conversation, but he's pretty talented when it comes to tear-jerking moments and fighting scenes. The director of "Family's Honor" has once said, "When I saw Park Shi Hoo crying, I suddenly wanna cry too." It's the same for me, it's like he's not acting and those tears are real. Surprisingly, Park Shi Hoo's eye movements can talk! Just looking at his eyes, you'll know if he's sad, happy or frustrated. That's his specialty!

Also, I've been wondering why Park Shi Hoo always play too-perfect-too-good roles. In Family's Honor, he's a rich, intelligent ruthless businessman (who's actually very child-like and adorable). In Princess Prosecutor, he's a rich, brave, talented lawyer. In Iljimae, he's again an acute, courageous, strong government official.

Personally I think Moon Chae Won has also improved her performance. She's cute but not as pretty as the princess, so her face is perfect for the role, a lively lady with strong curiosity.
What's more to say about Princess' Man?
- Very interesting plot. It's not new yet not too cliché either. Sometimes it's unpredictable and there are lots of unexpected dangerous events happened with the male lead. You'll watching the drama anxiously worrying what's going to happen to him.
- Beautiful cinematography. I especially love the swing scenes of Se Ryung. It looks easy but actually difficult, dangerous and scary. The crew have the pull the strings to swing her high and fast. It's great that the actors can get emotional when there's no romantic music at all.
- Euphonic music. The soundtracks were chosen carefully and approriately. Just hearing the music makes you utterly sad.
- Wonderful cast. Other middle-aged actors/actresses are all talented, experienced and complete their roles perfectly. Lee Min Woo (as Jung Jong) is unexpectedly cute and interesting. Song Jong Ho (as Shin Myun): maybe because of his role - a pathetic pitiful official , I don't like him much. But his acting skills aren't bad.
I'm glad to hear that Princess Man's latest episode stays first in ratings.
Hope the crew can keep up the good work.

However, this drama isn't all about love. There are some thrilling moments, like when Ma Hye Ri investigates several cases, when she was alienated because of her irresponsibily in work or when the truth about Seo Il Woo's real identity is finally revealed. I remember clearly, in the first episode that prosecutor Yoon has said, "Every woman wants to be a princess". Even though some are not into soap opera, or unrealistic fairy tales which always have a happy ending, every single woman desires to be treated well, to be cared and to be loved, like she's a real princess. Seo Il Woo's deep love for Ma Hye Ri has proven that even though she's just an annoying brat to others, in his eyes, she's still the princess that he falls for. The happy ending is predictable yet satisfying. I love {Prosecutor Princess}. It's definately a great drama, but regrettably its ratings aren't high, compared to that of Secret Garden (a funny but bad drama indeed - though I like Hyun Bin's face).
